Custom Handcraft Leather Belt designed for Single Edge or Double Edges BOWEN Buckle Knives. Belts are made of Vachetta leather. Vachetta leather is type of full-grain, vegetable-tanned calfskin/steerhide leather. The leather was popular in the Italian region of Tuscany, and became called Tuscan leather or Florentine Vachetta leather.Description: Sheath for the buckle knife are designed with leather welts. Besides adding stiffness to the sheath, the welts protects the stitching from being cut by the sharp edges of the knife, it’s also help for quickly and easily drawing the knife Hand sewing by wax threads with saddle stitching technic for durablity. Belt edges beveled and wax-burnish. Belt keeper (01pc included) was made very tight fit to make sure the belt not pops out from the peg stud of the buckle knife. You can also use the leather belt keychain (included) as a belt keeper if needed. Belt Thickness: 7-9oz (5/32 inches – 3.0-3.5mm) similar to original Bowen belts. This thickness helps to prevent the belt pop-up from the peg.
