This listing is for ONE EMP Jobsite Box converted into a Faraday Cage.This is a Husky Jobsite Box that has been converted into a Faraday Cage. We convert new Jobsite Boxes into Faraday cages and spray foam or install ½” polystyrene on the inside for a long term, built-in insulating layer. We install Beryllium-Copper fingerstrip gaskets (the best in the industry) to seal out the damaging effects of an EMP or large solar flare. We also use an electroconductive caulk to seal off any areas that aren’t fully welded. These boxes come with 2 holes in the front for the factory locking system that we have to seal off with sheet metal and conductive caulk. We installed four 4″ heavy duty wheels and casters. We also installed two adjustable latches that are used to compress the gaskets to facilitate proper sealing. These latches also have the ability to be locked with padlocks. We have established a business to build these jobsite boxes as well as 20 and 40 foot shipping containers into Faraday cages. We are offering all of them as “build-to-suit”. This box measures 60″ x 24″ x 27.5″ (wheels add about 5″ more to height making it approximately 32″ in height. This box will protect all your valuables whether computer hard drives and family photos and videos, emergency equipment, your bugout bag, tools, small appliances, small generators, flashlights, 2-way radios, and all your sensitive electronics from EMP’s and solar flares. Consider also protecting a backup water pump and backup sump pumps. This box was tested at 70 decibels of attenuation and is well within effective protection parameters for EMP protection.
